Yearly Events

Desiring to incorporate the Latin American cultural penchant for pageants and seeing a way to encourage and empower young women in pursuing their career goals and their position as leaders and role models, the Miss Hispanic Scholarship Program was begun and developed.

The purpose of the Festival, our signature event, has always been to bring together all the diversity of the Hispanic peoples from the 21 Latin American countries as well as to present to the local non-Hispanic community at large a panorama of our rich heritage and traditions through music, dance and food.

With the continuing desire to encourage and stimulate the learning, use, and mastery of our rich Spanish language, Latin American Alliance organizes, in the month of March, its annual Spanish Literature Contest (poetry and short stories), for grades 7 - 12 & College and University Students.

Please consider Latin American Alliance when making your donations! After we’ve spent the weekend shopping and looking for the best deals, this day reminds us to give to the causes that touch our communities up during this generous time of year.
