HISPANIC HERITAGE MONTH: WEEK 2 OVERVIEW

We had such a fun time livestreaming another Latin American Alliance cultural event Saturday evening to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month! Thank you to the 967 people who tuned in and watched artist Ramiro Velasco paint and to our talented student winners of the Spanish Literature Contest present their works! Exciting news! Ramiro Velasco has graciously donated his beautiful artwork which will be up for auction shortly on the Latin American Alliance website. All proceeds will go towards promoting the work of Latin American Alliance in the community. Follow our Facebook page for more updates!

Next up, this week we are celebrating the beauty of dance in Latin America! Join us this Saturday, October 3, at 5PM to see live and recorded folkloric dances presented by previous candidates for Latin American Alliance's Miss Hispanic contest as well as previous festival groups. The livestream will be on Facebook and YouTube Live! RSVP TO THIS EVENT HERE . All you have to do is click "going" and dance with us from wherever you're watching from!
