Miss Hispanic 2021

Andrea SuÁrez

Andrea Suárez was born in Mexico City and is currently 22 years old.  She is the daughter of Leticia (aka “Doña Leti”) and José Luís Suárez and has an older brother and sister.  She graduated from Technical High School and later enrolled in MVU – Mexico Valley University – where she majored in Chemical Engineering for three years.

Five years ago she decided to come to the United States to reunite with her family and continue her studies.  She studied Business Administration at HACC for two years and consequently transferred her credits to Millersville University from where she plans to graduate next year.  Her objective is to put into practice her knowledge and degree to benefit the family business—Chilangos Mexican Restaurant in Lititz.

Andrea is a very intelligent, very outgoing, and very compassionate young woman with a great spirit of collaboration.  Her great passion is to work with children.  In her free time she loves to read, swim, but above all spend time with her family so that in a way she might “recuperate” the long years that she was away from them. She is honored to have been designated as Miss Hispanic 2021.
